Iyengar Style Classes at KamaDeva Yoga in East Hampton
Basics/Level 1: A foundational practice for beginners or students new to Iyengar Yoga. Establish a good understanding of standing poses to build strong legs, increase general vitality and improve circulation, coordination and balance. Learn the fundamentals of inversions and relaxation. All are welcome!
Iyengar Yoga Level 2/3: A focused and rigorous practice that teaches students how to develop strength, endurance and optimal body alignment in addition to flexibility and relaxation. The yoga philosophy is woven into each practice leading students toward deeper understanding and integration on practical and profound levels. Students having a minimum of 1 year of consistent yoga practice.
