Canna Companion Review

CBD is the latest buzzword in the natural health industry, and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.

It wasn’t that long ago that America legalized the cultivation of hemp on a federal level, and while not every state has taken this on, it is starting to become more and more popular.

This is because there’s a growing mound of evidence to suggest that CBD can be an effective natural remedy against many different health conditions, including chronic pain and insomnia.

This is great news for patients who are looking to get off prescription medication and onto something that’s not only more effective long term, but more natural too.

As you can imagine, there are lots of companies crowding the CBD industry now with their products – but not all of them are worth your time and money.

Let’s review one and decide whether you should buy from them or not.

A Review of Canna Companion

There are some companies out there that follow in other’s footsteps, and then there are those that make the footsteps. Canna Companion is considered a pioneer in the CBD industry for pets.

In fact, Canna Companion has a team of vets that have been researching how CBD interacts with pets for twenty years, so they definitely have a bit of expertise to back them up. They even have an extensive collection of case studies that can attest to these products helping with health conditions like inflammation and much more.

Dr. Sarah Brandon began Canna Companion as a way to research CBD and its effects on pets, particularly her own dog. The ball began rolling, and today, you can find over more than 10,000 case studies in their database. This level of research and study is pretty rare even in an industry like this, so it’s definitely an innovative aspect that we are impressed by.

Canna Companion conduct in house trials to produce natural, holistic health solutions for pets everywhere. They can even recommend certain dosage levels based on the research they’ve done, which is something to take note of.

They also vary their CBD strains so that they’re always evolving when it comes to their products and how effective they are. They also want to keep things as sustainable as possible and avoid using chemicals and pesticides in the production process of their hemp. They even used recycled material for the packaging of their products.

They have quite an extensive range of products available online through their website, which includes capsules and tinctures. You can also get in touch directly with a licensed vet if you have any questions or concerns about their products, which means that they have great customer service.

However, there is one aspect to this business that we’re not too sure about. While they claim to test three times during the manufacturing and production process for things like solvents and contaminants, there’s nothing to indicate that they test for purity.

Every company in the CBD industry needs to be testing for CBD concentration so that they can prove to the customer that its products contain the required amount of CBD.

Scam or Legit; Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, a company like Canna Companion can be applauded for their hard work and dedication to becoming a company with great customer service and business ethics.

We also love that they have backed themselves with a large database of case studies. However, they have let themselves down when it comes to their lab results. Not only are they not testing for concentration levels of CBD, but they’re also not publishing any lab test results on their website.

This is an important step in the process because it helps customers determine whether their products are going to be effective for their pets or not. If you don’t know how much CBD is in their products, then there’s no way that you can get the dosing right.

We can’t recommend a company that doesn’t test for purity.

  1. This is really important information! Especially because of the price. I bought the caps once for my dog because we were moving to another State. With this information, I will not make that investment again, they would need to change their protocols and test for purity. This website saved me from a costly mistake,

  2. Just ask for a COA, they will provide it. FDA forced them and many other pet companies to take down publicly viewable COA’s as it provided a guaranteed analysis and was considered a drug. The company was nearly shut down because of this. Also the package you are showing is more than 4 years old. Many changes in the hemp/CBD industry and Canna Companion has a NASC seal to back their quality assurances. I have been a customer since they started in 2013 and they are always willing to help and provide full COA’s for the lot# of product you have or the most recent if you are just shopping. I spoke to the owner recently and they are building a page just for COA’s that is federally compliant.
