While cannabis has been around for a long time, it’s only been recently that people have started to really take notice of it.
While cannabis has been taken for its psychoactive properties for decades now, researchers and scientists are starting to unlock the potential of CBD, another cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.
CBD is the hottest new natural health alternative, and unlike many other natural alternatives, it appears to be a permanent fixture in the health industry – especially as an option in lieu of prescription medication.
As you can imagine, there are now hundreds of companies online and in-store trying to sell their version of CBD, in many different forms.
This means that you have your pick of the lot, but it also means that there are some products you shouldn’t go anywhere near.
Let’s give one CBD company a review and determine whether they’re worth trying or not.
Fairwinds Cannabis Review
A Review of Fairwinds Cannabis
Some CBD companies are much more on the holistic side, while others prefer to delve into their engineering/technical side. Fairwinds Cannabis company belongs in the latter category, with some of the most sophisticated technology we’ve actually seen so far in the industry.
From light levels and temperature to humidity control and CO2 extraction methods, you’ve got quite a few environmental conditions that are being very well looked after here thanks to the almost futuristic set-up.
It is fair to say that this CBD company is primarily about medical cannabis. James Hull is the name behind this brand, and as a former engineer is being able to play on his strengths with its unique and progressive manufacturing techniques. James likes to know exactly what’s going on at every stage of the process, which is why he has had a hand in it all.
The serious attention to detail here is inherent to growing high-quality cannabis, and we believe that Fairwinds Cannabis has what it takes to produce the kind of quality that everyone is looking for. When it comes to the growing and processing methods, Fairwinds Cannabis is up there at the top.
This CBD company also has an extensive range of CBD products on offer, from drink mixes and capsules to topicals, tinctures, pet products, vape accessories, and suppositories.
We are impressed with many of the additional ingredients that they have chosen to mix with their CBD, including turmeric and ginger. What we didn’t like the look of was some of the chemical compounds in their topicals and tinctures. We prefer it when companies stick to the all natural ingredients list.
Fairwinds Cannabis has made its website pretty user-friendly and even includes a retailer locator so you can quickly find where to purchase their products. Unfortunately, however, because a lot of this company’s products also contains a decent level of THC, they cannot legally ship them to other states in the U.S., or even within their own state. This means that if you don’t live in LA or Washington state, then you’re not going to be able to get your hands on any of their products.
We’re also disappointed to note that they don’t publish any lab test results on their website. While they do claim to conduct tests for things like pesticides and heavy metals in their products unless they’re willing to prove this to us and the consumer there’s no way that we can say their products are safe to use. They also need to be testing for cannabinoid concentration in each batch as well; otherwise, we cannot verify the CBD levels.

Scam or Legit; Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Fairwinds Cannabis appears to be an innovative company that’s driven by perfecting every part of the growing, processing and manufacturing method, all thanks to the man behind the name and his attention to detail.
While we can applaud this type of attitude in the CBD industry, it’s hard for us to get behind Fairwinds Cannabis completely because they don’t publish any of their test results.
Without these, potential customers have no way of knowing if their products are free from nasty chemicals, and they also can’t tell if the concentration levels on the bottle are true or not.
It’s for these reasons that we have to say we don’t recommend this CBD company and suggest you look for your CBD products elsewhere.
