The health industry is changing – for the better. For the past few decades, prescription medication has dominated the healthcare market. While it can be helpful at masking or managing chronic issues on a short-term basis, it’s certainly not a permanent solution.
This is why CBD oil has been making so much noise – it’s a natural remedy that has research backing it up as an effective treatment for many different health conditions. More studies are being done all the time that verifies CBD and its health benefits.
A lot of companies see this as an opportunity to make a profit, which means there are now thousands of products to choose from, both online and instore. However, this doesn’t mean that you can trust every company you come across.
Let’s take a look at one of these companies and decide whether you should buy your CBD oil from them or not.

Kiva Confections: The Details
We’re always talking about how important it is to find a niche if you’re in the business of selling CBD oil. The more specific you can be with your niche, the better you can explore it and make a profit as a result. Kiva Confections know first hand how important it is to have a niche, and they’ve certainly made the most of theirs.
If you’ve been to any of the medicinal marijuana dispensaries in California, you may have come across Kiva Confections chocolate that’s infused with cannabis. They are well known for their quality control and focus on the details, which we find admirable.
Having this type of work ethic towards your company and product definitely helps you stand out from the crowd, and it appears that this is what Kiva Confections is achieving. However, they are lacking in some areas which makes it difficult for us to recommend them.
Kiva Confections has been around for a while and is best known for its chocolate bars that are infused with cannabis. However, they’ve also seen the writing on the wall when it comes to the emergence of CBD, which has led to the release of a couple of chocolate bars which are also infused with CBD as well.
At this point, it’s important to note that because their chocolate bars still contain THC, you will experience a psychoactive effect when ingesting them. For this reason, they may not be suitable for all CBD users.
By all appearances, Kiva Confections seem to be doing everything right and have even collected a couple of awards both in Los Angeles and San Francisco for their innovative products and branding.
However, there are some questions around their lab testing, as we can’t find anything on their website that indicates they do. Normally, companies like this will have Certificates of Analysis that you can look at that verify the purity and potency of their products. However, we couldn’t see anything that does this for Kiva Confections’ products.
Kiva Confections places a special focus on how natural cannabis and CBD are and why this is so good for your health. Their interest in biodynamics and using natural remedies to synergize the body is definitely appealing to us.
Kiva Confections Alternatives
As well as the lack of lab testing information, there are a couple of other reasons why we steer clear of Kiva Confections. Firstly, they don’t offer any of their products for sale online.
While they do have a ‘find us’ feature that means you can locate one of the stores that sell their products quickly, it’s disappointing to see that they haven’t made the most of retailing online. What this means is that if you don’t live too close to one of the stores that stock them, then you won’t be able to buy their products.
At the end of the day, we need to see more from Kiva Confections especially when it comes to their Certificates of Analysis. We believe that this is an important part of running a business like this, and without it, there’s no way of us or any potential customers knowing whether their products are safe to use.
Try not to buy your CBD oil from a company who doesn’t provide information like this, because you don’t know what could be in their products.
