Over the past couple of years, CBD has taken off in the natural health industry. It used to be that THC was all anyone talked about when referring to cannabis – now, it’s CBD.
CBD is another cannabinoid to come from the cannabis plant, and it hasn’t taken long for researchers to pick up on just how beneficial it can be when used for many different health conditions.
There’s plenty of research out there to prove it, and America is slowly warming up to the idea of CBD being a viable alternative to prescription medication.
Of course, you’ve now got hundreds of companies online too trying to make the most of this new-found treatment. We can’t recommend them all, though.
Let’s review one and decide whether you should try them or not.
Uncanny Wellness Review
A Review of Uncanny Wellness
Uncanny Wellness has an uncanny knack for preaching their business ethos and being slightly contradictory about it. They claim to live by the three p’s – people, planet, and profit.
The people one, we can understand; they use a good extraction method and make sure that their source of hemp is organic and well-cultivated. With planet, they have teamed up with an organization that makes sure one tree is planted per order, so they’re certainly doing their part when it comes to this.
However, the third one we’re not too sure about – profit. While all companies want to turn a good profit, we don’t see how Uncanny Wellness can do this with their average prices.
Uncanny Wellness is a CBD company that’s based in Boulder, Colorado. They claim that they believe in both transparent and honest work for their business model – and they’re almost all there. However, as we mentioned, we’re just not sure how this translates into the profit side of things for them.
They use up much of their presence online explaining to existing and potential customers all about how they source their organic hemp, as well as their extraction method, which we’re okay with. We can see recent links to lab text reports that back the purity and potency of their product up too, which is another tick off the list.
Uncanny Wellness has also attempted to get creative with their CBD products, and have even turned into into a powder which we guess can be mixed with water.
They call is their ‘Barista Blend’ and encourage their customers to mix it with hot beverages like tea and coffee. They also sell various pre-mixed blends as well, as they are big believers in letting herbs do the work.
If you’re not someone who likes the idea of drinking your daily CBD, they also have capsules, as well as their full-spectrum range as well. As we mentioned, their prices fall into an average range, beginning at $30 and ending up at $111.
They appear to be quite a charitable company with their commitment to making sure the environment isn’t impacted too much by their operation.
Uncanny Wellness Alternatives
Scam or Legit; Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Uncanny Wellness seems to have most of their ducks in a row. We like that they’ve carefully selected organic hemp as their source and they extract it with the right method that’s going to produce a high quality, pure product.
However, we are disappointed to see that Uncanny Wellness seem to be contradictory with their ‘profit’ mantra. They can’t possibly claim to make a good profit while selling their products at these kinds of prices.
While there’s nothing wrong with the prices themselves, we don’t like that there’s a bit of discrepancy here – we can’t help but wonder what else they’re not honest about.
At the end of the day, we think it’s better to find a CBD company that can be upfront and transparent with you about all aspects of their business, not just most of them.
