There’s a good chance that you’ve heard of CBD oil – it’s making waves in the natural health industry.
While you may have been skeptical of CBD oil initially, there’s a good chance that you’ll warm to it – just look at the continuous research and studies online that indicate how good it is for our overall health and well-being.
There are many health conditions that CBD can help with, which is why there are now hundreds of companies selling it.
However, this doesn’t mean that they can all be trusted. Let’s give one a review and decide if they’re worth using for your CBD oil products or not.

Vita Mia Hemp: The Details
Some CBD oil companies are more inclined towards sustainability than others. It appears to us that Vita Mia Hemp is so committed to sustainability that they maintain complete control of their product, from the farm to your doorstep.
In fact, they harvest and process their product by hand, which certainly sounds promising. We love it when companies like this put an emphasis on ‘local’ – every bit of the process is done in Colorado, and Vita Mia Hemp use their very own farm to do so.
John and Carina are the names behind Vita Mia Hemp. Both John and Carina were raised in farming families, so it’s in their blood. They are truly the real deal when it comes to sustainable farming practices, as well as growing their plants organically and learning how to make the soil work for them without destroying it.
They don’t even want to become the world’s most successful CBD oil company – they just want to spread the organic love within their local community.
Vita Mia Hemp uses an ethanol extraction method to get all of their CBD out of the plant, which we think is ok but not great. We prefer it when companies use the CO2 method – it’s by far the most efficient and safest way to extract your CBD.
What we do like about them, though, is that they’re transparent about other companies that they are affiliated with. What they aren’t transparent about, unfortunately, is their lab testing.
We couldn’t find anywhere on their website proof that they lab test their products. Usually, a company like this will provide Certificates of Analysis that update their lab testing every few months. We can’t find anything like this here.
When it comes to their actual product line, it’s pretty simplistic. They have a range of topicals, pet tinctures, and softgels. They even offer a CBD oil sunscreen, which has an SPF of 30.
They claim that this is free from parabens and harsh chemicals, yet the label definitely included a number of chemicals that we didn’t like the look of.
While some of these chemicals could be considered safe according to the FDA, this doesn’t exactly fall in line with Vita Mia Hemp’s sustainable, organic practices.
We consider Vita Mia Hemp to be pioneers of a new type of CBD oil company – one that is local and is in control of the entire process, from farm to product.
We love that they want to keep everything within the family, and only care about serving their local community. These things are essential in a natural product company.

Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, there’s a lot to be impressed with when you look at Vita Mia Hemp. However, what we weren’t impressed with was the complete lack of lab test reports or information.
This means that we have no way of knowing the potency or purity of their products. What’s more, we don’t believe that they are being completely honest about the ingredients of their SPF30.
We think that they need to be upfront about the use of some chemicals, even if they are trying to achieve the organic approach with everything else.
For these reasons, we cannot recommend them as a company.

I use Vitamia hem cream and I would recommend it to all. I was on the verge of losing the use of my right shoulder due to arthritis. Movement was very limited. A friend recommended Vitamia. Since I started using the product I now have full use of rotation. I won’t lie there is still some slight pain I can live with. But shoulder replacement will not be need no more. This product really works and I would give it 5 stars.
