If you haven’t tried CBD yet, you should. While you may still be stuck on the idea that CBD is THC, it’s not.
CBD doesn’t contain any of the psychoactive compounds that THC does, which means that you can take it for medicinal purposes without worrying about getting high.
This is why CBD has taken off in the natural health industry recently and is particularly popular among patients with medical conditions as an alternative to conventional prescription medication.
You can imagine, then, that there are many companies out there attempting to take advantage of this boom. While this means that you’re spoiled for choice, it also means that there are some companies you should be avoiding.
Let’s give one a review and decide whether they’re worth investing in or not.
Fab CBD Review
A Review of Fab CBD
There are many different nutrition companies out there, and some are more passionate about nutrition than others. Fab CBD company is definitely one of those companies that seem to embody the idea that nutrition is the answer, and this is shown through their natural health products.
In fact, this CBD company started because they wanted to find a legitimate alternative to over the counter medication that often comes with harmful side effects. As you can imagine, their products are based around nutrition and are therefore driven by performance, helping you make the most of an already healthy lifestyle.
Founder Josh says that he has been in the health and fitness industry for over twenty-five years now and has a passion for performance supplements. He had family members that were suffering from chronic health conditions and wanted them to have a natural alternative to the prescription medications they were having to take. Fab CBD claims to be made up of health nuts that are on the hunt for natural solutions to common health conditions.
We are impressed to see that Fab CBD use a CO2 extraction method for their CBD and they get all of their hemp from Colorado. They only source hemp that’s been grown organically, which means you know there won’t be any chemicals or pesticides.
They even have a relatively extensive list of lab test results for past and current product batches, which means that they’re prepared to be upfront and transparent about their processes and methods, something we love to see.
There are three categories when it comes to Fab CBD products, and you can purchase them all within the $50 range. Their CBD oil drops are full spectrum and come in natural, mint and citrus flavors, which allows for a bit of variety.
They also have fruit chews on offer and are made with isolate CBD, and while they don’t come with any flavors or colors, they aren’t gluten free which we were a little confused about. This is because they contain glucose syrup, so if you’re allergic to gluten, you’ll have to avoid this product.
The last product they offer is their topical salve, which can be used on both joints and muscles. While it has an ingredients list that we mostly approve of, we did observe that it contains a chemical compound that has been considered carcinogenic in the past.
We were actually pretty surprised to see this ingredient here, especially because Fab CBD puts such a strong emphasis on sourcing organic hemp and making sure the rest of their ingredients are natural.
For the sake of past and present customers, we hope that Fab CBD consider using an alternative to the polysorbate compound they currently include in their topical salve.
We’re big believers in the idea that whatever you put on your skin is going to get absorbed straight into your bloodstream, which means that if the product contains nasty chemicals, then you’re going to be absorbing these as well.
Fab CBD Alternatives
Scam or Legit; Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, Fab CBD is a driven CBD company that puts all of its focus and attention on making sure their products are made from the best ingredients.
This is why we were particularly surprised to see that they still included a harmful chemical compound in their topical salve – especially because all their other products appear to be free from nasty chemicals.
This is a big letdown for us because it means that we cannot safely condone the use of their products as we believe that they may be harmful.
It’s much better to find a company that only includes natural ingredients in their CBD products, especially if they claim this as an important part of their overall business ethos.
